How it works
Sign up
$5 in credits added to your account. No card required.
Connect GitHub
Get another $5 in credits, applied automatically when you link your account.
Pay as you go
Only after your credits run out. Usage-based, transparent, itemized per run.
What you pay for
Average cost per run is around $0.002. The exact number depends on what your employee does. Every cost is broken down per run.
LLM thinking
Tokens consumed by your employee’s reasoning, billed at provider rate plus a small platform fee.
Tool calls
Web search, knowledge base lookups, MCP tools, and integration actions — fractions of a cent each.
Sandbox runs
The compute that runs your employee’s code in an isolated environment. Typically less than $0.001 per run.
External APIs
Any third-party API your employee uses (image generation, video generation, premium data sources) is metered transparently.
Triggers, schedules & webhooks
Free to set up. You only pay when they fire and produce a run.
Every run is itemized in your dashboard. You always see exactly what you paid for and why.
How far does $10 go?
A few realistic scenarios. Real costs depend on your employee’s exact workflow, but these are typical.
| Use case | Cost per action | Typical day |
|---|---|---|
| Light personal automation | ~$0.002 | 5 actions / day |
| Customer-support triage | ~$0.002 | 50 actions / day |
| LinkedIn outreach (light) | ~$0.003 | 30 actions / day |
| AI SDR (active prospecting) | ~$0.005 | 100 actions / day |
Heavier workflows — think image or video generation, or agents making hundreds of paid API calls per run — will burn faster. You’ll always see the cost on each run before it’s charged, and you can set per-agent spend caps in Billing.
Frequently asked
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. Sign up and you immediately get $5 in credits to build, deploy, and test. Connect GitHub for another $5. Most teams ship their first AI employee without ever entering a card.
What counts as a "run"?
One end-to-end task from your employee — a routine firing on schedule, a reply to a chat or DM, a webhook trigger from your code, or an API call against your deployed agent. Each run is logged with its full cost breakdown.
Do my $5 free credits expire?
No. Your free credits don’t expire. Once they’re used, you decide whether to add more.
What happens when my credits run out?
If you’ve enabled auto-recharge, we top your balance up automatically and your employees keep working. If not, your employees pause and we notify you in your connected channels (Slack, Discord, email) so you can decide whether to add credits.
Are there subscriptions or monthly minimums?
No. Oya is purely pay-as-you-go. You’re only charged for what your employees actually do. No contracts, no commitments, no minimums.
Can I cap spending?
Yes. Set per-agent or per-account spend limits in Billing. When the limit is reached, those agents pause until the next period or until you raise the cap.
What payment methods do you accept?
Cards via Stripe, including Stripe Link for one-click checkout. All transactions are in USD.
Where can I see what each run costs?
Every run has a full cost breakdown — tokens, tools, sandbox time, and any external APIs — visible in your run history. Nothing is hidden.
