Run an AI project manager in ClickUp.
Connect ClickUp and your AI employee can create tasks from emails or chats, summarize what’s due, and chase down updates — all without you opening another tab.
What it does
Task creation & updates
Create new tasks with the right list, status, assignee, and due date. Update statuses, change priorities, and add comments.
Sprint and list summaries
Ask "what’s due this week in the Growth list?" or "summarize the open bugs in P1" — and get a clean answer.
Auto-route from chat
Mention the AI in Slack with a one-line ask — it creates a fully-formed ClickUp task with description, links, and the right list.
How to connect ClickUp
- 1
Open Channels & Apps

- 2
Authorize ClickUp
Sign in to ClickUp and authorize Oya. We request only the workspace scopes the AI employee will use.
- 3
Pick the workspace and lists
Scope which Spaces, Folders, and Lists the AI employee can read or write to.
- 4
Set defaults
Default list, status, priority, and assignee for AI-created tasks. Reduces nagging questions.

What it doesn’t do (yet)
We’d rather be upfront about the edges than promise things we don’t deliver.
- Custom-field types limited to text, number, date, dropdown, and labels for now.
- ClickUp Docs are read-only for the AI employee in the current version.
- Time-tracking entries can be read but not created.
Frequently asked
Can the AI employee close tasks on its own?
Yes — but only if you grant write scope and approve auto-close in your settings. Most teams start with create + comment only.
Does it work with multiple ClickUp workspaces?
Yes. You can connect as many workspaces as you have access to and scope each AI employee accordingly.
How are tasks created from a chat message?
The AI parses the chat, drafts a task with title/description/links, and (if rules allow) creates it in the right list. You can review the draft first.
How do I disconnect?
Open Channels & Apps, find ClickUp, and click Disconnect. We revoke OAuth tokens immediately.
How is the data handled?
Task contents are processed for the active run and stored in your run history. We do not use your data to train any AI model.
A note on AI accuracy
Oya’s AI employees are powered by large language models and may produce inaccurate, incomplete, or out-of-date responses. They are tools to assist your work, not authoritative sources. Always verify important information — especially numbers, dates, names, and any business or financial action — before relying on AI-generated output. If your AI employee suggests a destructive action (deleting data, sending money, posting publicly), confirm it yourself before approving.
No model training
Your data is not used to train AI models. It’s used to do the work you asked for, then logged in your run history for your audit.
Full audit trail
Every AI employee action maps to a run in Oya. Inputs, outputs, tools used, cost — all visible and auditable.
